Residential Coordinator

Assists with the management of Refuge House Emergency Shelter, Transitional Programs, and Crisis Hotline. Provide crisis intervention and counseling to women and children in Residential Programs. Responsible for the provision of household needs for residents, including food, health, and personal care. Responsible for development of Community Living Activities for women and children. Provide on-going supervision of client files to include updated agency forms, accurate case notes, pertinent case history, goals and objectives, signed safety plans, signed TANF forms, signed release of liability, referral information, exit interviews, and other forms. Ensure that staff record information in client files accurately and in accordance with agency policies and practices. Prepares for on-site monitoring visits from funders. This candidate must have a strong understanding of the dynamics surrounding domestic and sexual violence and empowerment based advocacy. Must have supervisory experience. Bi-lingual strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience preferred.

 

Hotline Advocate

The Hotline Advocate responds to incoming calls on the hotline from victims, advocates, service providers and the general public. The Hotline Advocate provides crisis intervention, referrals, information and problem solving, and shelter screenings to all callers. Candidates must have a strong understanding on the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Franklin County Sexual Violence Counselor

Provides crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy to victims of sexual violence in rural Franklin County. Provide crisis intervention and short term individual counseling to undeserved victims. Provide advocacy on behalf of victims of sexual violence to social service agencies, law enforcement, medical personnel, and the court system. Organize and facilitate support groups for victims. Must have experience working with sexual assault and domestic violence victims. A Bachelor’s degree in human services and 2 years of relevant experience or significant work experience required.

 

Region One Program Director (Interim)

Provides principal leadership in the development and direction of programs and services in Wakulla, Franklin, Gadsden, and Liberty Counties. Responsible for the overall management and supervision of Region 1staff. Coordinate and manage services for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and children in outreach settings. Ensure that staff record information in client files accurately and in accordance with agency policies and practices. Hire and supervise counselors. Hold regular supervision meetings and in-service trainings. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with law enforcement, victim assistance programs, health care, and social service providers. Participate in Task Force meetings. This candidate must possess a strong understanding on the dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Bi-lingual preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in human services and 2 years of relevant experience or significant work experience required.
