Although a good deal of Refuge House funding comes from a variety of federal and state sources, grants, and the United Way, the importance of community support cannot be underestimated. We are proud to have over 7,000 individual donors within our community and many corporate sponsors who value the work of Refuge House and wish to give back to the community through financial support of our programs and services. Through financial support of Refuge House, you can truly make a difference in the lives of victims of domestic or sexual violence and their children. You will have the knowledge that your contribution has a direct impact in many ways, whether through providing transportation, counseling services or a forensic exam for a victim of sexual violence.
